The Winnipeg Jets are in the middle of game 4 against the Colorado Avalanche and while Jets defender Brenden Dillon isn't in the lineup for today's game after suffering a gruesome injury, he might be able to play sooner than you would think

Dillon was hurt during game three when, during a scrum at the end of the game, he was sliced by a skate. The cut itself is deep enough that it required medical attention in the form of stitches. While Dillon wanted to play, the Jets kept him out of the lineup in hopes that he might be ready for Game 5.

Brenden Dillon OUT today. Bowness said they're hoping he's back Tuesday. Said if it was up to Dillon, he'd play but they'll wait.
Logan Stanley in for Dillon.
On the forward side, Axel Jonsson-Fjällby in, David Gustafsson out.

The absence of Dillon for one game may not matter, even with the Jets down 2-1 in the series, but if he misses an extended period of time, the Jets could be in trouble.

Hopefully for the Jets sake Dillon is able to suit up on Tuesday, the Jets have struggled to keep the puck out of the net without him.
