Towards the end of the second period of the Toronto Maple Leafs do or die game five against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden, a melee broke out in front of Jeremy Swayman as the Blue Shirts were pressing hard to take the lead into the third period.

As left winger Matthew Knies attempted a wraparound to try and beat the Boston netminder, everyone began to collapse around him, which resulted in a whistle being blown as some jostling occurred.

While this was happening, Boston Bruins Play by Play man Jack Edwards, who is retiring at the end of the season, had some very harsh words for referee Steve Kozary after Kozary exited the ice without giving an explanation to an exasperated Charlie McAvoy.

This series may not be over yet, buckle up for a wild finish and what should be an eventful third period.

The officials weren't to happy with the Bruins either:

Early in the third it's a 1-1 game
