Fan captures audio of Kyle Dubas cursing at fans during Game 3
Saturday's game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Tampa Bay Lightning got heated on the ice. It appears the game also got heated off the ice as well. Video surfaced Saturday night of Kyle Dubas engaged in a heated verbal argument with fans after Morgan Rielly and Brayden Point collided sending Point into the boards.
The hit drew a crowd and ended up with Auston Matthews, Ryan O'Reilly, Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov all receiving fight majors. The original video however did not feature clear audio, but another fan in Tampa has released this clip of Dubas absolutely giving it to Tampa fans.
According to those in attendance Dubas told fans to "f*** off" repeatedly during the clip and before.
A lot of outrage has surfaced from this clip, but it's hilarious to note Tampa fans were quick to condemn the Maple Leafs fans who were insulting Patrick Maroon, Tanner Jeannot and Corey Perry in the penalty box during Game 2. This seems to me like just an example of a passionate General Manager standing up for himself after being chirped by multiple fans.
