Boston Bruins announcer roasts Pat Maroon's weight during live broadcast
When it comes to Jack Edwards, you either love him or you hate him. There really isn't much in between when it comes to the Boston Bruins play-by-play announcer. One thing no one can take away from Edwards is his passion for the Bruins.
Tonight the Boston Bruins are hosting the Tampa Bay Lightning in Boston. During the 1st period after Pat Maroon plays the puck Jack Edwards brings up that he weighed in at 234 pounds, but according to Edwards Maroon is looking a little bigger and he had an explanation why.
I got a feeling he's had a few more pizzas between then and now.
It's comments like this that have endeared Edwards to Bruins fans and have made him an enemy of so many other franchise. But if nothing else Edwards is always good for a laugh.
