Breaking News - UFC Legend Stephan Bonnar passes away at 45
As combatant sports fans you know that the UFC wouldn't be what it is today without Stephan Bonnar and Forrest Griffin. The two original Ultimate Fighter Finalist paved the way for what the UFC is today. Unfortunately though the UFC just confirmed that Bonnar passed away this week.
Bonnar passed away Thursday while at work. According to reports the suspected cause of death was a heart complication.
Dana White released the following statement:
"Stephan Bonnar was one of the most important fighters to ever compete in the Octagon," said UFC President Dana White. "His fight with Forrest Griffin changed the sport forever, and he will never be forgotten. The fans loved him, related to him and he always gave them his best. He will be missed."
