With the Chicago Blackhawks clearly being sellers at the National Hockey League trade deadline on March 3rd there have been rumours swirling around one of their franchise cornerstones, Patrick Kane. From the sounds a of it, a deal that would see him leave Chicago is In the closing stages.
According to Rear Admiral of the spittin chicklets podcast, Patrick Kane to the New York Rangers is nearly done, take a look:
i've been told by a league source that Kane to Rags is «99% done». @BarstoolChief
Kane, 34, has had some concerns involving his hip this year, but has proved he can still produce. In 54 games with the Blackhawks this year, Kane has 16 goals and 29 assists for a total of 45 points.
If and when the Rangers pull this off, this deal would signify that they are all in. I just don't know if Kane is the player that would put them over the top.
