Max Domi takes a shot at the City of Columbus after spending 2 seasons in the city
Max Domi signed a one-year, $3 million deal with Chicago this summer, and seems to be enjoying himself in the Windy city.
Domi's career has been filled with highs and lows thus far, he has proven that when given the chance to play with high-end skill, he can produce. In 31 games this season he has 10 goals and 21 points.
Though Domi isn't experiencing much winning, he knew what he signed up for when agreeing to the contract.
«That was a no-brainer on my side,»
Domi said.
«I knew what the situation was. I was dealt a hand in Columbus which was unfortunate, and it is what it is. I battled through that, and now I have an opportunity to actually play hockey again. [I'm] just enjoying the moment.»
Max Domi on Christmas break:
"I'm pretty excited, actually. My whole family's here. I was in Columbus for two years, so I didn't get many visitors. All of a sudden I'm in a nice city, so my whole family wants to come. I don't know if it's me or the city."
It doesn't sound like Columbus will be a city Domi considers moving to when he's done with his professional career.
