Ovechkin with a subtle but perfect show of respect for Carey Price
Carey Price and Alex Ovechkin have always had a level of respect shared for each other as top level competitors. So with Carey Price's career on hold for most of this season the two haven't had the chance to face off against one and other. Yesterday, despite Price not being in the lineup Ovechkin was able to show his respect to the Habs legend.
Players like Ovechkin and Price don't require large displays to show their respect, so this was simply the most fitting form of expression.
With this possibly being Price's final year in Montreal it is great to see the greatest goal scorer and goaltender of a generation sharing a moment so simple and so perfect.
