The Toronto Maple Leafs have made this weekend about Borje Salming as they should. He's arguably the best defence man in the franchises history and with his recent diagnosis of ALS,
Before tonight's game against the Vancouver Canucks, the Leafs gave him another tear-jerking tribute.
To say there's emotion in the air tonight is an understatement. To top it off as Salmings night, not only did he drop the puck for the ceremonial face-off, but Toronto iced an all Swedish lineup for the first shift of the game.
Some things are bigger than the game of hockey and this would be one of them. What a touching tribute from the Leafs.
