Ducks reportedly listening to trade offers on nine-year veteran
We're just under three months away from the National Hockey League's trade deadline for the 2023-24 season and in the next little while, we should be hearing more and more about names that will be available.
One team to keep an eye on is the Anaheim Ducks, who currently sit last in the Pacific Division with a record of 10-19-0 and could look to off-load any pending unrestricted free agents that'll get them pieces for the future.
While he's not a pending unrestricted free agent, according to Bruce Garrioch, the Anaheim Ducks are willing to listen to offers on Frank Vatrano, who is on pace to score 40 goals this season. The 29-year-old has one year remaining on his contract following the 2023-24 season with a cap hit of $3.65 million.
In 29 games this season, the East Longmeadow, Massachusetts native has put up 23 points (14 goals, nine assists), 33 penalty minutes and is a minus-eight.
Among other names the Anaheim Ducks could consider moving are forwards Adam Henrique, Jakob Silfverberg, Sam Carrick, as well as defenceman Ilya Lyubushkin.
