National Hockey League teams are doing everything possible to try and grow the game to the next generation. Different teams have developed multiple programs for young fans to help increase their involvement in the game. The Buffalo Sabres are one of the teams who have taken this and truly embraced the growth of the game.

To the Sabres credit they have even taken these programs off the ice and begun to work with young students interested in joining the media. Ahead of "Kids Takeover Day" the Buffalo Sabres introduced their new Sabres Junior Reporter, Madison.

The Sabres were able to make the day special for Madison, but the day wasn't all positive for her. Early in the day as Madison was finding her footing she was encouraged by a member of the Sabres media team to enter a scrum. Unfortunately, Mike Harrington, a Buffalo Sabres' media member wasn't having it.

As Madison approaches the scrum with her microphone she is confronted by Harrington who refuses to allow her to enter the scrum. This footage was captured by Mike Straw Media.

We've all seen what @ByMHarrington has said and heard the stories, but this is something that deserves to be brought up.

Harrington's history of acting better than isn't new as you can see in this clip of clearly intimidating a Sabres Jr. Reporter. A KID.

Harrington has a reputation around the Buffalo media scene, but being captured on camera treating a child this way is just another example of who Mike Harrington is. After being called out on this incident, Harrington chose to go private on Twitter instead of addressing the matter.
