Cal Clutterbuck lands hard on his head and neck after being tripped
The New York Islanders currently trail their first round series 2-0. With game 3 tonight the Islanders are trying hard to get back into the series.
Early in the 3rd period with the game tied at 1, Cal Clutterbuck carried the puck into the Carolina zone. As Clutterbuck takes the puck below the goal line a sliding Derek Stepan slides under Clutterbuck's skates and sends him flying through the air onto his head and neck.
On the play Stepan received a 2 minute minor for tripping. Clutterbuck on the other hand left the ice and has not played a shift since.
