Alex Stalock makes an absolute must see save of the year candidate
The Chicago Blackhawks and Colorado Avalanche are currently facing off in a Western Conference matchup. With the two teams heading in opposite directions it would be easy for the Blackhawks to check out early. But that's not what Alex Stalock has done.
During the 1st period Nathan MacKinnon was sprung free on a clear cut breakaway. After getting off a shot, MacKinnon to have Stalock at his mercy but instead Stalock comes up huge with one of the saves of the year.
The Avalanche currently lead 1-0 midway through the 1st period.
