He's played just three games in the NHL so far, but Connor Bedard of the Chicago Blackhawks already has the poise and confidence of someone who's been in the league for years.
In a recently released video that appears to have been taken when Bedard was in Montreal, fans can be seen hounding him for autographs before he hits the ice. That's likely nothing new for the 1st overall pick in 2023, but his response to one fan was hilarious.
A young fan in a Montreal jersey can be seen taking a selfie with Bedard, and then asks the generational talent to sign their Montreal Cole Caufield jersey. Bedard's response? "Oh, I can't do a Habs jersey," he said with a grin.
No word on whether he actually signed it, but if I had to guess, I'm thinking he did. Despite being only 18, Bedard seems completely comfortable in front of TV cameras and hoards of fans.
