Sean Higgins, the man accused of killing Johnny Gaudreau cried in court this morning after details were revealed

Sean Higgins, made another court appearance this morning. Higgins faces two counts of vehicular homicide after allegedly striking and killing Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau with his vehicle. The two were killed after Higgins, who was allegedly attempting to pass on the shoulder struck the two men.

Higgins, had hopes of being released today, had those hopes dashed after details of his crime revealed. Investigators noted in their arrest report that Higgins admitted to having drank "five or six beers" before the August 29th crash. In court today the judge denied him bail and remanded him into custody until October 15th.

The judge in the case revealed he had "significant concerns" about Higgins being released from custody while the case was still pending. Details revealed by the Columbus Dispatch that Higgins blood alcohol level was .087 above the legal limit of .08.

In the investigation report, it was revealed that Higgins admitted to being the person who hit the cyclists, despite not having seen them. After the judges decision, Higgins broke into tears according to TMZ.

Higgins will return to court in October to face his next court appearance.
