Patrick Kane appears to suffer injury to his surgically repaired hip
Patrick Kane appears to suffer injury to his surgically repaired hip after just having recovered not too long ago, the injury occurred in a game against the Leafs.
Over the past summer, Patrick Kane made the decision to have surgery on his chronic hip injury. The injury had been plaguing him for years and had finally become more than he could bear. After a long rehab, Kane signed a new contract with a Detroit Red Wings.
Kane's time with the Red Wings has been rather successful so far and he has shown off that there has been no ill effects of the surgery. Unfortunately tonight against the Maple Leafs Kane took two hits back to back both to the surgically repaired hip. Kane left the bench during the first period and did not return.
The Red Wings have since announced that he will not return to tonight's game with a lower body injury. Hopefully this injury is unrelated and Kane has avoided serious injury.
