Amazon NHL docuseries reveals ridiculous item Connor McDavid is afraid of
The recently released Amazon NHL docuseries reveals that Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid is afraid of a condiment.
On Friday, Amazon Prime officially released the six-part NHL docuseries which focused on a number of star players around the league last season including Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Quinn Hughes, William Nylander, among others.
McDavid was featured prominently throughout the docuseries, as one would expect with being the biggest star in the National Hockey League and we got to see a side of the Oilers captain we never see.
After a loss in the Stanley Cup Final, McDavid can be heard in the locker room screaming at his teammates, trying to motivate them, but also telling them that their play during that game was not good enough. McDavid could also be heard saying that they need to "lock the f**k in" and hope they can pull off a victory when they get back to Edmonton.
However in another episode, we learned something new about Connor McDavid and this one is certainly strange. McDavid's wife, Lauren Kyle, mentions in one of the episodes that he is afraid of ketchup and that their person chef has to sneak bottles of it to her at the table when the Oilers star isn't looking.
Having this docuseries from Amazon Prime and the National Hockey League is great for the game as we get to see a side of the players not often shown. Hockey players are very reserved and quiet for the most part, but throughout the six-episode docuseries, we get to see emotion from these players who are doing all it takes to win the Stanley Cup, something they've worked their whole life towards.
