Edmonton Oilers fans at Rogers Place tried to taunt former Oiler Cam Talbot last night, and it backfired in a big way as the Kings Drew Doughty scored.

It's always fun to taunt the away team when watching the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, but, as Edmonton Oilers fans learned, it can backfire sometimes.

After the Oilers had just scored to cut LA's lead to 2-1 in the first period of game 2 last night, Edmonton fans decided to have some fun with Kings goalie Cam Talbot, who was an Oiler for parts of four seasons. As the fans sarcastically chanted "Tal-bot, Tal-bot," Drew Doughty of the Kings took the puck up the ice and shoved it into the net by Edmonton netminder Stuart Skinner to restore the two goal lead.

The Kings went on to win the game 5-4 in overtime to tie the first-round series at one game each. The teams now head to California for game 3 in LA on Friday night. Despite the four goals, Talbot played very well, including this stop on Oilers star Leon Draisaitl.
