Dean Evason was not happy with the Minnesota Wild's loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs last night, and he's singling out one player in particular for a mistake.

The head coach spoke with reporters following his team's 7-4 loss to Toronto, and said a penalty that was taken by Alex Goligoski changed the momentum of the game after Minnesota had rallied back from a 3-1 deficit.

"Momentum was clearly in our direction and then obviously they get a power play. They didn't score, but they gain momentum from it. They had a lot of good touches on it. And then we were behind the eight ball. Can't happen. You can't take (a) stupid really stupid bad penalty and Goose knows it. We addressed it, but it can't happen. Can't happen in Game 2 and it can't happen moving forward."

Here's the penalty in question. Goligoski admitted after the game that he told the referee to "make a f--king call!" after he felt someone got away with one on him. The official did what Goligoski said, and gave him a two minute minor for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Evason wasn't particularly happy with any member of his defense, other than one rookie.

"Brock Faber can't be our best player every night. It's wonderful that he is, but we really need other people stepping up in Spurgey's (Jared Spurgeon) absence."
