Pat McAfee makes big promise to Marc-Andre Fleury
Pat McAfee makes big promise to Minnesota Wild goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, putting his money where his mouth is.
After passing Patrick Roy on the all-time goalie wins list earlier this week, Minnesota Wild goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury was a guest on the Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday.
While on the show, McAfee made a huge promise to Fleury, saying that if he scores a goal this season, he'll donate $250,000 to the charity of his choice.
Fleury went on to accept the offer and even joked with McAfee saying that a few years ago he said $100,000 and that it's great to see him increase the amount.
This will definitely motivate Fleury for the rest of the season and next time the opposing team pulls their goaltender, he'll be looking to his teammates to give him the puck to fire it down into the empty net.
