The Minnesota Wild currently sit in sixth place in the Central Division standings and are only four points back of the Nashville Predators for the final wild card spot in the Western Conference.

This week will be crucial in helping General Manager Bill Guerin decide which direction he'll take ahead of the trade deadline next Friday. Minnesota has a handful of players to keep an eye on if they decide to sell, with the biggest of the group being goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury.

While there would be significant interest in Marc-Andre Fleury if he becomes available, but in an interview, the Wild netminder says that he wants to remain with Minnesota and help them reach the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

"If we were last in the conference, maybe it'd be a little bit different," Fleury said. "But this is my team. We've been battling together, right? I take pride in winning with this team. I want us to make the playoffs. That's my first priority. I think being in the hunt, it's fun, it's challenging. And I want to be here and see this team make the playoffs."

Fleury, 39, has only appeared in 28 of Minnesota's 58 games this season where he has a record of 12-10-3 along with a 2.92 goals against average, an .899 save percentage and one shutout.

With Fleury not wanting to be moved by the Wild, it'll be interesting to see if they decide to buy at the deadline in an effort to make a push for the Stanley Cup this spring. It's unclear if Fleury, who is an unrestricted free agent in July, will hang up the skates, so this could potentially be his last chance at another Stanley Cup.
