After spending the last two seasons with the Boston Bruins, forward Tomas Nosek is on the move. The 30-year-old unrestricted free agent has struck a deal with the New Jersey Devils. It is for one year, and worth $1 million.
Nosek, a native of Czechia, was never drafted into the NHL, instead signing an entry-level contract with the Detroit Red Wings after a few years playing pro at home. Nosek was taken by the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2017 Expansion Draft, and spent four seasons there before signing a two-year deal with the Boston Bruins in 2021.
Nosek has 42 goals and 101 points in 398 NHL regular season games.
