Goodrow, 31, appeared in 80 games this season for the Rangers where he put up 12 points (four goals, eight assists), 78 penalty minutes and was a minus-13. He went on to add eight points (six goals, two assists) in 16 games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Toronto, Ontario native has three years remaining on his contract with a cap hit of $3,641,667 and a modified no-trade clause with a 15-team no-trade list.
