Carter Hart officially removed from Philadelphia Flyers roster
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Carter Hart of the Philadelphia Flyers is among five players that are being charged by London Police for an alleged s*xual assault that took place at a Hockey Canada gala in 2018.
While the status of Hart and the other players in the NHL is the least concern at the point, it appears that the Philadelphia Flyers have removed him from their roster.
According to CapFriendly, the Philadelphia Flyers have placed Carter Hart on the non-roster list.
"Philadelphia #LetsGoFlyers have moved goaltender Carter Hart to non-roster"
According to the NHL, under section 16.12 in the CBA, non-roster designation for a reason other than injury or illness has no time limit and is up to Central Registry and/or Commissioner Gary Bettman to give approval for the move or to disallow it.
More information on the London Police investigation is expected to become available at a press conferenfe on Monday, February 5th at 2 p.m. ET.
