Conflicting report surfaces about Kyle Dubas future and rumoured job in Pittsburgh
Earlier today a source connected to Pittsburgh sports media reported that Kyle Dubas had agreed to a contract to become the teams next General Manager. Now it appears what was a foregone conclusion hours ago, might not be a sure thing.
While making an appearance on a recent Sportsnet radio, Frank Seravalli of The Daily Faceoff shared the following.
So, @frank_seravalli was on with @SportsnetBen and while he was not reporting that Kyle Dubas had rejected the Penguins offer he was suggesting there were lots of whispers that Kyle Dubas had rejected the Penguins' GM job.
It now appears that Dubas must feel he has the inside track on the Ottawa Senators job. With a sale expected to be announced by this weekend it's possible that Dubas must have some information that isn't publicly available. This saga will hopefully end sooner rather than later.
