Sidney Crosby proves he's a true great with this heartwarming gesture
As athletes, National Hockey League players are put on a pedestal. After all, they make millions of dollars and are the best in the world at what they do. Sidney Crosby is at the top of that list. This story will prove he's as humble as they come, too.

Say what you will about Crosby on the ice; love him or hate him. This is the kind of thing (along with his illustrious career) that makes him one of the best in the game.
Making time for kids that look up to you as an ambassador of sport is great, but going above and beyond for not only the little girl but her family also says something.
Crosby is one humble superstar, and as his career winds down, as fans, we need to realize how lucky we are to have him.
