Seattle Kraken place 31-year-old defenceman on waivers
The Seattle Kraken have placed 31-year-old defenceman, Jaycob Megna on waivers.
One day after shutting out the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2024 Winter Classic, the Seattle Kraken have placed one of their players on the waiver wire.
According to TSN's Chris Johnston, the Kraken have placed defenceman Jaycob Megna on waivers for the purpose of assigning him to the American Hockey League's Coachella Valley Firebirds.
"Placed on NHL waivers today: Jaycob Megna (SEA)."
Megna, 31, has only appeared in two games this season, that being with AHL Coachella Valley where he's put up one goal and is a plus-three. The Plantation, Florida native was acquired by the Seattle Kraken in February 2023 from the San Jose Sharks.
