Defenceman Vince Dunn has established himself as a top pair defender who can quarterback the first unit since getting selected in the Expansion Draft in 2021. It seemed Dunn was always going to be lower in the lineup with St.Louis so when the opportunity arose to come to Seattle, Dunn grabbed it with both hands.

The 27 year old put up career numbers last year, scoring 14 goals and 64 points in 81 games. Seattle rewarded his playing signing Dunn to a four-year deal worth $29.4 million.

On Monday night Dunn's Kraken were hosting the Colorado Avalanche. With the score 4-1 Avs, late in the third period Kraken defenceman Dunn takes a two minute penalty for slashing on Colorado's Mikko Rantanen. The Kraken defender becomes unhinged on the ref because of the call.

You can hear Dunn on the video shouting at the ref.

"Are you kidding me?! F*** you!" That earned him an early trip to the showers."

The strong outburst from Dunn earned him a total of 14 penalty minutes. Two for the slash, two for abuse of officials and an additional ten minutes for abuse of officials to end his night early.

Both teams are off until Wednesday with Seattle facing the Oilers next and Avs facing the Ducks.
