The Tampa Bay Lightning and the New York Rangers squared off in what was one of the most heated and tense hockey games of the season last night and it seems like the Lightning are starting to crack a little bit.
Nikita Kucherov is one of the best wingers in hockey, but he's known to over react just a tad to things when they happen. When he was assessed a penalty, he even went so far as to break the camera they had in the box, take a look:
Kucherov just smashes the Penalty box camera 😂 biggest crybaby in the league 💯
In the heat of the moment I get that sometimes your emotions overtake you and that's okay, but this is becoming a pattern with Kucherov.
If this is the road one or more players from Tampa decides to go down, we've seen what happens when players argue calls, they won't get anymore favours from league officials.
Kucherov is better than this, or rather he needs to be better than this in order to help the Lightning in the playoffs, it's only a matter of time before referees call more and more penalties if this is how he's going to act.
