The Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs are bitter rivals, and ahead of their latest clash, Andrei Vasilevskiy gave Morgan Rielly an unwanted snow shower during warmups, with the Toronto Maple Leafs veteran seemingly getting annoyed by the move.

After meeting several times in the Stanley Cup Playoffs in recent years, the Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs have built up quite the rivalry, and that continues as the lone NHL game on Monday night. Ahead of that game, Andrei Vasilevskiy seemingly wanted to stir the pot during warmups, and he did so in a very intriguing way with Maple Leafs veteran Morgan Rielly.

Before the game with Rielly stretching on the ice, the Lightning star was striding over towards his own warmup spot, and decided to give No. 44 a snow shower, something that certainly wasn't appreciated. Rielly didn't react in any huge way, simply choosing to laugh it off, and while he can't get revenge on Vasilevskiy in a legal way, he could certainly take it out on his teammates.

Nothing has happened thus far in the game, but we've seen how vengeful Rielly can be in recent years, especially last season, when he was suspended for cross-checking Ottawa Senators rookie Ridley Grieg in the face after an empty net goal, so it could be something to keep a close eye on moving forward as this game and this rivalry rolls on.

In a rivalry such as this one, there's always going to be battles that get personal and very, very physical, so while this definitely wasn't the most disrespectful thing, it was seemingly unnecessary from Vasilevskiy, and it may end up costing one of his teammates in a big way in the games ahead.
