The way the Vancouver Canucks handled the whole fiasco with the firing of Bruce Boudreau made the whole organization look bad.
Today on the Jeff Marek show, Boudreau said there was one former player that used to go to management and ask them what they were doing with his situation, take a look:
Boudreau on Schenn: He would go upstairs and talk to management and say...
Hey listen, what are doing? Bruce is doing a great job.'
(Marek Show)
Luke Schenn would go to to upper management and try to talk some sense into them. This situation already looked bad on the organization, this makes them look even worse.
If you have an active player or players trying to get you to see that the way you're going about things is bad and you do it anyway it has nothing to do with hockey or the coach losing the room, you've made up your mind to fire the coach for virtually no reason.
The way the Canucks handled this was already a black mark on their history, this extends that black mark even further.
