The Vancouver Canucks will look to take a 3-1 series lead on Sunday as they take on the Nashville Predators in Game 4. With Thatcher Demko injured, this has forced Casey DeSmith into action, but now, the team may be making a change between the pipes today.

According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Canucks may be considering a goaltending change for today's game and that no one should be surprised if 2023 World Championship MVP Arturs Silovs is between the pipes.

Friedman added that he's unsure what has happened with Casey DeSmith. It's unclear if he's dealing with an injury/ailment or if he's healthy and this is just purely a coaching decision from Rick Tocchet.

"With Vancouver/Nashville, we should be prepared for the possibility Arturs Silovs starts for the Canucks. Not sure what happened here, though." Friedman said.

If this is the case that Silovs gets the start for Game 4, it'll be his Stanley Cup Playoff debut. While he doesn't have a ton of experience at the NHL level, he's no stranger to playing in the spotlight and under immense pressure. Last spring, Silovs led Latvia to the bronze medal at the World Championship. It was Latvia's first medal in World Championship history and along the way, Silovs beat Czechia, Switzerland, Sweden and the United States.

We'll have to wait and see what the Canucks decide to do with their goaltending, with warmups coming around 4:30 p.m. ET and puck drop set for just after 5 p.m. on Sportsnet.
