Vegas Golden Knights reportedly closing in on multi-year extension with Adin Hill
According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Vegas Golden Knights are closing in a contract extension with Stanley Cup champion goaltender Adin Hill.
Friedman added that the contract is going to be for two years in the range of $4.9 million per season, but nothing is official as of yet.
"Some other stuff today: sounds like Stanley Cup champion Adin Hill is looking at an extension in Vegas around the 2x$4.9M range. Nothing official yet, though." Friedman said.
Hill, 27, was traded to the Golden Knights in August 2022 from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for a 2024 fourth-round pick. Hill took over the reigns in net from Laurent Brossoit during the second round against the Edmonton Oilers who suffered an injury during Game 3.
In 27 games during the regular season, the Comox, British Columbia native had a record of 16-7-1 with a 2.45 goals against average and a .915 save percentage. He went 11-4 with two shutouts during the playoffs as Vegas won their first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
