Kuznetsov shows frustration after teammate doesn't pass to him
Capitals forward Evgeny Kuznetsov shows frustration after a teammate doesn't pass to him during Saturday's game.
Washington Capitals forward Evgeny Kuznetsov was not happy during Saturday afternoon's game against the New York Rangers after his teammate decided not to pass to him.
Former NHLer Mike Rupp noticed Kuznetsov's actions and shared a video on X, formerly Twitter, which showed the Capitals forward tapping his stick several times on the ice wanting an outlet pass from teammate Nicolas Aube-Kubel. Aube-Kubel decides to circle back and drop the puck off to his defenceman as it was a safer option.
"Turn it up 🔊 Obnoxious from Kuzy, showing up his teammate. Bad 🥚? Not a great look for your teammates." Rupp said.
It's not often you see a player visibly frustrated with a teammates decision and it's certainly not a good look as it makes him look quite selfish and, as Rupp says, shows up his teammate.
