Another player decides he no longer wants to be in Winnipeg as awful offseason continues
The Winnipeg Jets had an underwhelming season to being with culminating in a first round loss to the Vegas Golden Knights, now things continue to get worse as another player has no intention of signing an extension with the team.
According to The Athletic, Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck has no interest in signing an extension with the team; take a look.
"There should be no confusion about whether Hellebuyck has interest in signing an extension in Winnipeg. That ship has sailed."

Hellebuyck, 30, has been with the Jets his entire career, this season he had a 37-25-2 record with a .920 save percentage and a 2.49 goals against average to go along with 4 shutouts in 64 games.
Hellebuyck is in a win now stage of his career as he's pointed out many times and if he's not willing to sign an extension when his current deal expires, they should trade him and set the price relatively high.
