A restricted free agent with the Winnipeg Jets has a new deal, but it isn't a lengthy one. Winnipeg has announced the signing of 25-year-old Logan Stanley to a one-year, one-way deal worth $1 million.
The deal leaves the Winnipeg Jets with just one more restricted free agent to cross off the list, fellow defenceman Declan Chisholm.
After being selected 18th overall by the Jets in 2016, Stanley did not make his NHL debut until the 2020-21 season. Since then, he's played exclusively in the NHL. Stanley played in just 19 games with the Jets last season as he dealt with a couple of separate injuries. He had one goal and two assists.
