Ilya Samsonov forced to leave game after brutal collision
The Toronto Maple Leafs and Florida Panthers are facing off in game 3 of the eastern conference semi-final. Just moments into the second period, they lose their starting goaltender.
Just 20 seconds in to the second period, defender Luke Schenn attempts to break up a scoring chance before crashing into the net, taking the net off and injuring his goaltender Ilya Samsonov, take a look:

Samsonov would stay down for a few moments while being tended to by the Maple Leaf's trainer before leaving the game presumably to enter concussion protocol according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman
