Tonight the Buffalo Sabres are facing off against the New York Rangers and this is something you never want to see, young Rangers star Kaapo Kakko suffers one of the most gruesome looking injuries you'll see.
Kakko got tangled up with Erik Johnson who appears to take out his leg from behind, Kakko falls, getting his leg caught underneath him and it appears to snap below the knee on the play.
Kakko is undoubtedly in un-imaginable pain and Johnson was not assessed a penalty on the play. This is just so bad on so many level. While many don't like to fear the worst, this sure doesn't look good.
