20-year-old player arrested in the locker room during the 1st intermission

This story is definitely something you don't see everyday and no, this story didn't come from your local beer league. It actually occured during this weekend's North America Hockey League Action.

On Saturday the New Hampshire Mountain Kings faced off against the Johnstown Tomahawks. After the first people was completed authorities approached the Mountain Kings locker room and took Yahor Ramanau into custody. The 20-year-old was handcuffed and placed under arrest.

But the reason for arrest had nothing to do with the game on the ice. It wasn't an incident with another player, the arrest actually stemmed from an outstanding warrant from 2021.

In the NAHL, 20 yr old defenseman 🇧🇾 Yahor Ramanau was arrested during the 1st intermission of his New Hampshire Mountain Kings vs Johnstown Tomahawks game.

He was picked up on an outstanding warrant issued two years ago where he was charged with aggravated assault by vehicle.

According to documents the warrant had been issued two years ago when the Ramanau, a native of Belarus, played for the Esmark Stars in Pittsburgh. He has been charged with aggravated assault by vehicle.

Ramanau is presumed innocent until proven guilty. To add insult to injury his team went onto lose the game by a score of 2-1.
