26-year-old forward placed on waiver wire
The Chicago Blackhawks continue to wait anxiously for the return of Connor Bedard from injury and on Wednesday, have placed a member of their organization on waivers.
According to Chris Johnston of TSN, the Blackhawks have placed 26-year-old forward Rem Pitlick on waivers for the purpose of assigning him to the American Hockey League.
"Placed on NHL waivers today: Rem Pitlick (CHI)." Johnston said.
Pitlick, a native of Ottawa, has had quite a busy year. Last summer, he was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins from Montreal and then was traded from Pittsburgh to Chicago in early January.
In nine games for the Blackhawks this season, Pitlick has gone pointless along with two penalty minutes and is a minus-seven.
