Anaheim Ducks give player with a career high 67 points a 49 million dollar contract
The Anaheim Ducks are at a key point in their rebuild. As they look to turn the corner and become a competitive team they must balance their roster while still managing their up and coming players. The Ducks were expected to go to arbitration with forward Troy Terry but today the team announced they had avoided the hearing.
The Ducks announced on their official Twitter account that they had signed Terry for 7 more years at a cap hit or $7,000,000 per season.

We've agreed to terms on a seven-year contract with two-time All-Star winger @troyterry1997.
Last season for Anaheim, Terry scored 61 points last season in 70 games. The year before he put up a career high 67 points in 75 games. This move helps the Ducks solidify the roster but if Terry is unable to return to last year's form this could be an overpayment by the Ducks.
