Atlantic Division team trying to acquire former 30 goal scorer
NHL training camps are set to begin in the middle of September. With that usually comes some last minute trades and maneuvering as teams look finalize their roster before camp. The Boston Bruins have undergone but serious amount of changes summer after the retirement of two of their most important players.
According to multiple sources, the Bruins have looked at multiple creative ways most of their offense. Now it appears the Bruins have narrowed in on a target. Eklund from Hockey Buzz reports that the Bruins have a significant amount of interest in Pavel Buchnevich from the St. Louis Blues.
Pavel is signed in STL for one more year, after the current one with the Blues, and they have been trying to extend him..however, where will he land on the scales? The Bruins are being very aggressive on this am told.
In just 63 games last season Buchnevich scored 26 goals and 41 assists. Buchnevich would provide a significant boost to a Bruins offense seriously lacking a major punch. With the Blues rebuilding and the Bruins looking to remain competitive they could be perfect trade partners.
