Blackhawks GM Kyle Davidson responds to Kyle Dubas angry comment
Over the weekend the full trade details of a requested trade between the Blackhawks and Maple Leafs. Furthermore the information that the Maple Leafs turned down the deal also leaked to media who shared it openly.
This is clearly problematic especially when a team hasn't had an opportunity to discuss specifics with players who may be includes in the deal. During his media availability Kyle Dubas shared this comment.
Well media members took Dubas advice and asked Kyle Davidson about his thoughts and he replied with the following quote:
I'm aware of his comments and that's something I'll address in private with Kyle.
It's clear this situation is tense between the two men, but as a new GM if the leak did come from Chicago this isn't going to make doing deals easier in the future.
