Breaking News - Hurricanes provide health update on Seth Jarvis after Trouba check
In the 1st period of tonight's Game 7, Jacob Trouba had the opportunity to line up Seth Jarvis and deliver a very tough hit. On the play Jarvis was shaked up and had to crawl to the bench.
While at first it appeared that Jarvis may have suffered a lower body injury it turns out that is not the case. The Hurricanes have confirmed the following:
Seth Jarvis will not return to tonight's game due to an upper-body injury.
The loss of Jarvis will definitely play a role as Rod Brind'Amour is forced to shorten his bench. The Hurricanes currently trail the Rangers in the 2nd period.
