Carolina Hurricanes fans taunt Jack Hughes with a photoshopped photo of his mom
The home crowd went home happy at PNC Arena in Carolina as the Hurricanes laid a beat down on the New Jersey Devils 5-1 in Game 1 of their second round series.
New Jersey's top players couldn't generate any offence. Their top point producer in the regular season Jack Hughes had a really bad night, 0 points, -3, and 2 shots on goal in 19:43 in ice time.
There is no way Hughes didn't see a fans creative attempt at a chirp. A fan sitting behind the Devils' bench photoshopped Hughes 2019 draft night photo sitting with his arm around his mother. The fan savagely replaced Jack's face with Carolina forward Sebastian Aho's face.
