Carson Biere and co-defendant charged by police in wheel chair incident
While the Carson Briere saga continues to drag on it would appear that authorities have decided to charge Briere for the incident which occurred inside an Erie, Pennsylvania bar on March 11.
Briere and Patrick Carrozzi, a member of Mercyhursts men's lacrosse team are charged with the following offenses: Second-degree misdemeanors of criminal mischief related to damaged property, criminal conspiracy to commit criminal mischief, and the summary offense of disorderly conduct.
The charges filed have been sent via mail by summons which would mean that neither Briere nor his co-defendant were not arrested but are to be arraigned at a preliminary hearing on May 22, 2023.
During the incident that was caught on video and posted on Twitter Briere and Carrozzi are seen getting into the wheelchair, pushing it towards the stairs then launching it down the steps after getting up from the device.
