Connor Bedard is visibly frustrated after scoring his first career NHL goal
Connor Bedard has caught the eyes of NHL fans throughout the preseason. Bedard has danced defenders on multiple occasions and already compiled a rather impressive highlight reel. So it was only a matter of time before he scored his first NHL goal.
That moment came last night in the final moments of the preseason game against the Detroit Red Wings. Unfortunately for Bedard and hockey fans the goal wasn't a highlight reel goal. It unfortunately didn't even come with a goalie in the net. No, Bedard's first NHL goal was an empty net goal which put the Hawks up by two.
After the goal Bedard is visibly annoyed and doesn't even want to acknowledge his goal with teammates. It's clear Bedard isn't like most other players, he's a winner and a true competitior. It's only a matter of time before Bedard scores that first highlight reel goal.
