A crazy sight was seen towards the end of last nights game between the Arizona Coyotes and New York Rangers, where a star player slewfooted another leading to a brawl at the end of the game.
As the Coyotes' Clayton Keller was getting up after a diving play for the puck, he clearly swept his legs in a motion to knock over Rangers' star Adam Fox.
Fox had to leave the game, possibly only for precautionary reasons being the third period of the third game of the year. However, that didn't stop the Rangers teammates from taking exceptions with the Coyotes actions.
Towards the end of the game, a brawl ensued as the bad blood between the team spilled over.
It was a surprisingly competitive game from the Coyotes, who only fell 2-1 to the cup-contending Rangers, and clearly got under their skin. Perhaps with competitive games like this and with the team fighting together, the Coyotes could have a much better season. The Rangers too, undoubtedly look primed for a deep run in the playoffs.
