Darcy Kuemper gives up a BRUTAL first goal
Game 5 is underway tonight in Denver, Colorado. The Avalanche are leading the series 3-1 and are looking to put away the Lightning. But given the pedigree of the Lightning they will not be an easy team to put away.
During the 1st period of tonight's game, Jan Rutta get the Lightning on the board with a goalie Darcy Kuemper definitely would like back. As Rutta came down the wing he let go a slapshot that beats Kuemper from an unlikely angle.
The Lightning will start the 2nd period with the 1-0 lead as they look to push the series to a 6th game.
