Dirtiest hit possible thrown by Kings defenceman

Last night's game between the LA Kings and Winnipeg Jets brought an ugly scene, being one of the worst hits you can throw in hockey. Late in the third period with the Jets losing badly, Kings' defencemen Andreas Englund recklessly drove Jets' forward Cole Perfetti face-first into the boards.
It's clearly an awful hit in every sense. Perfetti has his back turned to Englund, and is the most vulnerable position being bent over a few feet away from the boards. When Englund makes contact with Perfetti, it results in a dangerous and ugly hit.
In defence of the sophomore Perfetti, Jets defender Dylan Samberg challenged Englund to a fight immediately after the hit. Englund obliged, and proceeded to beat the lights out of Samberg.
Englund should likely face supplementary discipline from the NHL Department of Player Safety for this hit, if the league has any intention of protecting their players from these horrible types of hits. Hopefully, Englund is suspended for the reckless and brutal hit.
